Argent Connect is a new service for retail businesses, which uses Telstra's powerful ISDN network to support voice, data and EFTPOS all over a single telephone service.
Argent Connect works with an ISDN 2 service to enable you to carry EFTPOS transactions from your retail business to your financial institution quickly and securely. But it's also so much more - ISDN2 allows you to connect up to eight devices to the one line, allowing you to use any two of these devices at the same time on the same service, while still using EFTPOS.
Installation is easy. Argent Connect links your existing electronic funds transfer terminal to an ISDN 2 service via an Argent Terminal Adaptor (ATA). The ATA is included - there is no separate charge.
When you choose Argent Connect, you will be charged for your Argent Connect service, an ISDN 2 service and also any usage charges. For a full breakdown of charges, please see the table below:
