- You can browse the net faster than on a dial-up plan, with ISDN speeds of up to 64kbps or even up to 128kbps*, depending on how your equipment is configured.
- You could save on call costs. For BigPond ISDN customers, data calls to the BigPond Dial-Up access number (0198 308 888) using your ISDN Home service are included in your monthly plan fee.
- You don't need a separate phone line for the Internet, because your ISDN set-up establishes two channels on the same line, so you can talk on the phone with one channel and surf the net with the other. Alternatively, you can use your 2 channels for voice or fax.
